Lauren & Terrence - Toronto City Hall Wedding - Toronto Ontario - Brendan Joel Photography

Last winter, Lauren and Terrence celebrated their love with an intimate and thoughtfully planned wedding day in the heart of Toronto. I say thoughtfully, because every detail of the day was perfect… but Lauren & Terrence actually planned their wedding in just a couple months! Originally reaching out to me for some engagement photos, they ultimately decided to just get married instead. Hell yes. I immediately loved these two. They officially tied the knot at Toronto City Hall, where a small gathering of their closest family and friends witnessed a heartfelt ceremony that felt both personal and meaningful.

The day began with cozy, Christmas-inspired getting ready moments and a romantic first look at the iconic Royal York Hotel. With its grand interiors and timeless charm, it was impossible not to think of Home Alone 2. A perfect nod for a couple who met while working in the TV and film industry. The cinematic connection didn’t stop there, as the evening was topped off with a private viewing of the film at the Tiff Lightbox, where they first met. Making the day feel uniquely them from start to finish.

After City Hall, guests gathered at a cozy restaurant for an intimate reception filled with warm conversation, laughter, and all the festive vibes. Lauren and Terrence’s wedding was a beautiful blend of nostalgia, love, and intentional simplicity. An effortlessly cool celebration that reflected their story so authentically and one that I am honoured to be a small part of.

Congratulations to Lauren and Terrence!
